OMP and Bell Racing caught the eye while crossing the yard of bricks at the Pennzoil 250, the NASCAR Xfinity Series race held this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The two brands of Racing Force Group adorned the livery of the #35 car of Joey Gase, driver and owner of Joey Gase Motorsports, equipped with OMP racewear products – including the ONE-S suit – and the Bell RS7C LTWT helmet.
The sponsorship agreement for the Pennzoil 250 gave the two brands a visibility boost on the stock car racing scene, where the Bell Racing brand is already the benchmark, and where OMP is establishing itself thanks to an ambitious growth strategy in America. The current season is already the best in OMP’s history in this discipline, with six wins secured in the main championship, the NASCAR Cup Series.
“Being able to sponsor Joey Gase’s car was a great opportunity that we quickly jumped at”, said Kyle Kietzmann, CEO of Racing Force USA. “In particular, seeing the OMP branding at key points in the livery along with that of Bell Racing was a major push to promote OMP even more in stock car racing and on the landscape of American motorsports. This goes in addition to the increasingly strong bond with Bell Racing within Racing Force Group”.
“Having a predominant presence in the livery of a race car is always a very effective tool to capture the attention of the industry’s professionals and enthusiasts, especially at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with a when the color scheme as striking as that of Joey’s car”.
At the Pennzoil 250, Gase made his ninth appearance of the year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the second-tier of NASCAR-sanctioned competitions, in which he made his debut in 2011 when he was just 18. Gase also boasts 90 races in the NASCAR Cup Series.
“Overall, we are very pleased to support Joey by providing leading-edge racewear and helmet products with superior levels of protection, comfort and performance,” Kietzmann added.
